I wouldn't call it not fair. Last year when they've won, I think that some teams that they have beat also were not complete and have some injuries. This is part of the game that key players become injured in an unexpected moments like the important games in the playoffs.

He's emotional and it's normal for him to react that way because he's been a franchise player ever since his NBA career. And of course when the opposing team beat your team, you'd like the other team to get on for them to beat the Knicks which is the Pacers. The first game of Pacers and Knicks are going to take a while so, they will have enough rest.

For the season MVP, that will depend on the votes of the media and basketball analysts. It only calculates the stats of the season, not the playoffs.
For conference MVP, one of them might get it since one of them will advance to the Conference Finals as Conference champions.
For Finals MVP, well, they have to be the champion first before they are qualified for it.
Yeah, that summarizes it.

Anyway, what a great game by the Knicks. It's a complete package. They both performed great on the defensive end and the offensive end. KAT started the spark, and then Bridges continued. It's a strong team with a high level of defense and offense. I think the Pacers will have a rough time against them.

One more Game 7 incoming, Thunder vs Nuggets, and I hope it will not be a blowout. It's not much fun to watch when the lead is so high because there ain't a thrill anymore.

If there is no Tatum, there is no win for Celtics as well just like I said. The end of a series here... I had such big expectations from them man, damn.    They are unlucky due to Tatum's achilles injury.

Tomorrow night there is Game 7 for the Thunder - Nuggets series. I already said Thunder should be moving on. But if they are struggling against a problematic Nuggets then I don't think they can eliminate Timberwolves.

It's the same for both teams.
If the Nuggets struggles to beat the OKC then it'll be a problem to them and OKC will be the winner.
That's the decider game and we'll just see who's the better team for the two of them.

That’s why he got benched during the Olympics as dude doesn’t have that killer instinct. Or maybe the real problem is the coach, who keeps leaning on Tatum like he’s LeBron. Now look what happened, Tatum’s injured. And the whole “live by the three, die by the three” thing? they literally died by it in their last game.

Losing Tatum ended up giving them absolutely no chance to win, and that is why they ended up with something much worse here and Knicks ended up losing overall. I would assume that they are not going to win and they didn't. Knicks wasn't a great team neither, any bit of a decent team would have won, but Celtics looked like fish out of water without Tatum.

Even when he isn't scoring, he is such a vital part of their plan, so without him, nobody replaced him so everyone else played worse as well. Knicks will be playing against Pacers, two teams that I would not have guessed to see at the finals, and now they will play eastern conference finals and one of them will be in the NBA finals. To me that is shocking, not sure if all feel the same way.

No NBA Playoff basketball today.  Kind of a bummer.  First day in the playoffs so far...  That means the season is winding down and we had better enjoy every minute that is left.  Sunday brings us a great game 7 between the Nuggets and Thunder, then another off day...  With Aaron Gordon in doubt for game 7, this rest day might be good for them, but the Thunder definitely have an opportunity with Gordon being out.  Gordon has saved the Nuggets from multiple losses already this postseason.  Tomorrow's game (on ABC) will be a good one!

I think that they'll still let that kid Strawther get in even that's a very crucial game of theirs.

They've seen how he played and he'll get some playing time again. If his first to two shots will get in, then he'll stay longer.

That's how the coach is blending them with him so, good luck to the final game of OKC and Nuggets.

The Achilles injury itself is one of the most difficult and insidious injuries because it can ruin a player's career. It's not just a matter of mentality, but also the fact that not everyone manages to recover fully from such a kind of injury, as the elasticity of the tendon is reduced, and as a consequence, the explosive power and mobility are reduced. This is one of the reasons why many players can't perform as well as they did before this injury.

I do agree, it's really difficult to get back for this kind of injury. Although in recent years we have seen players getting back at and still manages to play. I guess the improvement of sports science might have something to do with it as medicine getting advance, hence players quickly recovered. Unlike before wherein it someone injured, it's like the end of his career.

So hopefully, Tatum can come back from it and so is Kyrie if I'm not mistaken. It might take them full year to recover though, but it is what it is. They really need to heal back before going back 100%.
