This challenge is exciting and it's a chance to stay fit so I'll give it a shot. Apart from squats and skipping, I haven't done up to 100 in another exercise. I prefer planks to pushups cause I find pushups harder so because of that I'll start gradually maybe 30 pushups for like 3 days and then 50 then 100. I'll also slip in eating healthy so I can kill two birds with one stone.
Welcome, and yeah it sounds good to plan to work your way up to larger quantities or pushups per day or per set and perhaps the number of push up sets that you plan to do and when you plan to do them.
Frequently, if we are not used to a certain kind of exercise, especially if we might plan to try to do them everyday (as is the basic aspiration of this particular pushup challenge), then you might not even feel sore the first or second day, but then you find that you might get really sore and even sore in parts that you considered to not necessarily be related to pushups (like neck, shoulders and even torso or overall body tiredness).  .. yet after several days of doing pushups you will likely get some sense about how your body is responding and if it might be reasonable to increase the quantity of your pushups per set and/or per day, so it also could be the case that you might end up increasing too quickly.. or maybe you end up spoiling yourself and not pushing yourself hard enough, which also some guys seem to want to pamper themselves, which might not be a good response, either.. but surely guys have to make their own decisions regarding how they want to progress and even if they want to end up doing pushups every single day or perhaps having a day or two or more off each week.
A few of us, including myself, consider doing pushups every single day to be within our styles and preferences, yet since this is voluntary, there is value in your choosing what level of frequency and/or intensity is within your own preferences.
Taking a break since no time to do any physical activity even give 10 minutes online. Bitcoingirl 2 joined us two days ago after a successful c section [there were some major complication in the process and the surgery took over one hour. Thank good nothing went wrong]. The baby and mum is doing well. I am enjoying my time with two kids. The elder one says, she is dad's girl but the new baby is her girl 😂. She loves her sis 💓

Yeah.. it can be difficult to fit pushups in every single day when other things are happening, so it is a matter of priorities..
And in this thread pushups are priorities of the thread... for whatever reason whether it might be for self improvement, community cohesion, contributing to the BTC price going up, Karma.. or whatever.
I did not want to do puhups today either.. which is the case almost every single fucking day.. and yeah, don't proclaim that I am too negative or that I am burned out or that I should take a break, but I am disclosing the dilemma of competing interests and how easy it can become to slip into "taking a break" prior to even establishing a pattern or a system or showing by proof of work (rather than proof of talk) about priorities.
i suppose, maybe you inspire me to do my first set of the day.. which happens to be at a time that many days I would have had already gotten a few sets in.. but just getting my first set in and getting started.. and part of the solution to the dilemma is just getting started and just doing it.. even though it hurts and it is not convenient...and sometimes feeling.. maybe I could just do 10 or 20.. and sure in the end I end up doing my full amount. .these days 50, even though my first days I was doing only 15-25 per set, and that hurt like hell to do.. but now 50 hurts like hell to do.. even though I could do lower quantities per set and it would be way easier. .I might not even feel it. .and I might not get the benefit of the pain of pushing my limits, either.  Is there a song related to the hurt topic?  it hurts so good?
I remember
this one from my youth.
I will continue at 50 and I hope to jump up to 60 on Nov 1.
I am getting the sense that you are going to be ready.. Only a few more days left... Surely one of the good things about setting relatively targeted goals like that and then regularly reinforcing the goals... kind of like a religious mantra.
