It is going to be hard to increase your pushups if you are ONLY averaging less than 20 pushups per day and what are you doing? full pushups or modified pushups?
It's full pushups, and I have been increasing my pushups by 1 daily, it's not hard and rather convenient for me. This is done so my body to adapt to exercise gradually because in first two days I did 160 pushups, and my body was heavily sore that I couldn't lift myself up after doing few pushups.
Are you able to do 3 sets of 7 pushups per day? 3 sets of 10 pushups would be even better, but yeah, maybe you are not ready, willing or able to increase your quantity of pushups? What is the reason?
I am only doing 1 set, whatever number I am supposed to do for a particular day, I do it in one go, and I'm increasing quantity by one daily.
Are you getting anything out of the pushups that you are doing? What are your goals?
Do you merely want to participate in this thread? or are you actually getting anything out of having average pushups of less than 20 per day?
When I looked at the thread, I thought this is something I can do, because I had regular exercise discipline for years before I forego it couple years ago, this is something to motivate me to bring that discipline back.
Maybe you mentioned your reason.. I cannot recall seeing an explanation.
