Well, obviously the money is going to differ because more viewers, and you know more revenue mean more money and more salary for the players.
So, I will have a really big fan base and far bigger compared to PSL. The money is generated less so the players are getting paid less that's as easy as that.

IPL money is way more then ICC income and there is no comparison of IPL with other leagues. Due to this supremacy BCCI is dictating its own rules like no Indian player will play in other leagues, Pakistani players will not be part of IPL and so on. If there were leagues at the level of IPL we will have a healthy competition not one man show.

In terms of entertainment value, I rank BBL as the second best franchise T20 league, behind the IPL. But the issue with BBL is that many of the Australian players have pulled out of the league because of low salaries. The BBL salary cap is too low, when compared to the other leagues. On top of that they have a limit of just two overseas players, which somehow limits the viewership outside Australia. All that said, I can't deny the fact that BBL maintains exceptional quality and have made a lot of contribution to the women's game (through the WBBL).

But I think that BBL has made the restrictions about overseas players for only two because they want players from Australia to get more chances to prove themselves. If there are more overseas players, sometimes the local players' performance can be overshadowed by the well-known overseas players. So, it is a good decision in my opinion. But the salary cap is obviously low.

Yeah. BCCI did a great job with most IPL seasons so far and this most probably won't change in the future which is why many other Cricket boards should focus on learning from their successful strategies in order to improve.

Their governments should be blamed for this. So many international players are preferring the IPL over their own country leagues primarily because their governments aren't taking care of them properly.

I have a different oponion on this. Its the government that groom the player before it makes it way to the national squad and from there its picked by IPL. Can you name any single oversea player that is playing IPL and hasn't represented its national team? There is none such player. If quality of cricket keep on going like that we wont see IPL players coming out from Westindies, Sri lanka and Zim

Well.. I am not against that strategy. But Australia is a small country and the total population is around 1/10th of that of some of the Indian or Pakistani provinces. In order for the BBL to become financially viable, they need to attract viewership from South Asia. Indian players are banned from taking part in the BBL, so that option is tricky. But they gained a lot of viewership in Pakistan, because a number of Pak players are representing various BBL sides. A compromise can be reached, and I guess 3 is a more suitable limit instead of the current two.

Yeah, but if they want some better exposure of BBL then surely they need to do some better things like bring 4 players from overseas is also not bad at all because this can bring few players from South Africa, England and few other countries as well which help them in viewership as surely currently BBL is second most watched league in Pakistan with PSL having first spot and IPL is banned.

But, Australia is developed country and their financial infrastructure is also very strong which is helping them for having good money from this league but in next few years we can watch many things going to change with leagues war is now on and all boards looking for better finances with IPL surely going to stay at top and for second and third spot fight is going to be very tough.

I really don't even think that India thinks about this thing as a problem because India is not suffering from this by any means. This is actually rather problematic for Pakistan because through IPL a lot of Pakistani players also could have proved themselves but now they don't have that chance and also the financial loss that Pakistan is having to bear because of this decision. I think Pakistan should improve the quality of their own T20 league and they can have a lot of profit from that.

In Pakistan no one is now thinking about IPL because now their own brand is doing good and in coming years surely future is bright for them with some good marketing is also giving them good response and country economy is also having some good impact on this all about quality it's already having very good impact as many legendry cricketers are fan of this PSL because they are feeling currently worlds top ranked twenty/20 players involved in this league is mean quality of this league.

Now, they are going to complete first phase of seven years which is good with now having new era is coming for them under professional leadership which is going to change many things in near future for better quality and fairness of this league as in start first challenge was bringing this league at home now second challenge is good marketing which will spread this in near future for better fan base around the world.
