Can the New Orleans Pelicans 2025-2026 be considered to be over already ? Since in the NBA records no team that started their season 0-6 have ever made it to the postseason, of course records are meant to be broken at one point or the other, but the real question does this Pelicans team look like anything worthy of having one hopes up on ?

This team really need an upgrade, been a while now, they need to make a decision about Zion, he is a good player but if they can really win even a game in a 6 games, that is really bad, they should start rebuilding, spending a fortune for someone who don't know how to stay fit, they are wasting the years of other players in the team, because they are so attach from zion that he will be healthy in a full season, they need to decided or it will be a years of failure to come.

I'm curious, is this normal that there are still no outright matches offered in some sportsbooks for the NBA? Because in bc.game, right now, I still can't see any outright matches for the NBA.

Yeah, we all know finals are still far, but I am trying to look forward to some outright matches like for NBA Finals, like who will get the ring for this season.

I had to double check that cause I couldn't believe it.  But yeah, you are right with that. Only a 0:5 start brought a team to the post season, but never a 0:6 surprisingly.
I mean,, the Pelicans season started without any expectations, didn't it? And yeah, since there is nothing really on the horizon waiting for them maybe it's time to swap those assets they have (if you can consider them assets) into some valuable drat picks and move on from this team. It's such a drag with them and nothing is happening for years. Zion is having ok stats and finally looks healthy so maybe it's time to use this increased value to get something good for them without other teams thinking about weight issues or injuries.

Yeah, it was a big surprised win since their big 3 is out but was able to pull this on the road. Ayton, Hachimura is their top scorer, and a relatively unknown Nick Smith Jr make a 25 point contribution to win.

But I do commend, Marcus Smart, since he is inserted in the top 5, the Lakers always won. It's like the prime Smart when he won the DPOY. He had one Lebron like chase block last game and willing to put his body to get a charge, and then hustle and steal. Smart might be the their ace if they are going to go deep in the playoff this season. And probably why Luka lobbied the Lakers to get him.

Right, but as early as their season goes, we might have seen the glimpse of what the future holds for this team. They are now below in the standings and it seems that Zion can take his team to the next level. Maybe they will really need to do something huge in the second half of the season to be a contender, otherwise, another sorry season for them and as others said, it might be good to trade Zion already and then rebuild from the start. I think them and Memphis with Ja Morant will be in the bottom and might not make it to the playoff, just a bold prediction on my end.

Flagg keeps underperforming, even though he was supposed to be the real deal for Dallas, especially while Irving is still in rehab. But based on his recent games, I’m starting to think he’s a bit overrated. Dallas just lost again, now sitting at 2–5 this season, and at this rate, making the playoffs looks unlikely. It’s like they’re under a curse since they traded Luka.

By the way, in their game against the Rockets, he only scored 12 points, efficient shooting maybe, but still underwhelming overall. Not the kind of performance you’d expect from someone hyped as the next big thing. He really needs to step up soon.

The funniest part for me is the nicknames that people are coming up with for Luka, Austin, & Jake. I first heard them being called the Tres Leches which was funny but last night I saw people calling them the Snowtime Lakers (a play on the Showtime Lakers) which I think is absolutely hilarious. Loving this team this year.

Steve Ballmer is now being sued by 11 Aspiration investors who claim he used the company to funnel payments to Kawhi Leonard. I’m sure he will beat the case because billionaires aren’t the ones actually moving their money around, but this will probably end up costing him more money than he gave to Kawhi. I hope he’s innocent.
