That's true, it very important as an investor to rightfully figure out our discretionary funds so that we wouldn't be getting things mixed up in our investment journey. Also, for the benefit of newly members that are just starting, discretionary funds is the left over or remaining funds after every neccesary expense as already been taken care of. And for an investor not to have issues or start thinking of runing back to his investment holdings to settle real problem when it comes, discretionary funds is just the right and recommendable  funds to invest with.
And if many beginners already understand what you're saying, it's wise for them to buy now, as Bitcoin is still at a low price, giving them a better chance of achieving future profits.
The main focus of new investors is to save slowly with discretionary income, not to think about whether the price is cheap now. Because no one knows whether the price that is going on today is actually cheap or expensive compared to the future. So my opinion would be that new investors should not enter the market with the mentality of buying cheap now and making profits in the future. Instead, they should start by thinking about whether they have discretionary income. Then they can gradually plan to withstand market fluctuations.

When you show a new investor the hope of making profits in the future by buying cheaply, he can naturally expect relatively high from Bitcoin. But when the market continues to go down and the market does not work according to his expectations, he can sell out of fear. So give new investors advice that does not increase their expectations but awakens a long-term attitude. Because expectations should be based on long-term possibilities, not short-term gains.
As long as they are investing in bitcoin for a long term there is no need for them to be looking at the price of bitcoin to buy when they feel that it is cheap. It is mostly traders that is looking for when the price is low before they can start buying with the intention of selling when the price is high and there aim is to make quick profit. So if a long term investors begin to look at price of bitcoin before buying it is definitely a waste of time and they are depriving themselves the opportunity to acquire more bitcoin.
