I had a choice: either forget about my money on MEXC or go through KYC.
This is where my personal strategy of depositing to or withdrawing from centralized exchanges would prevent particularly that situation,
When it comes to Exchanges, I prefer to split my total amount in to multiple smaller amounts I would afford risking to lose.
As an example, if I deposited 2,000 Dollars on a Centralized Exchange and they froze my funds until I prove my identity, it would be an amount large enough to put me in a position where I am almost forced to give up my Privacy so they can give me my amount back. If I split that amount in multiple deposits of 200 Dollars or less, it would be a price I think I am ready to pay for not giving up my identity to a Third Party stranger.
In a future where Know Your Customer is not only required by centralized exchanges themselves but also strictly mandated by law under excuses such as protecting against terrorism funding, money laundering et cetera, you can assume ANY exchange that does not strictly follow the law may be shut down, seized et cetera. I expect exchanges like b1exch that claim they do not follow any particular country jurisdiction to in fact be some of the first targets. It is a good thing there is no regular deposit on b1exch since it is an instant exchange. But as much as I would like a limit free exchange to exist, I know these will be the first on a hit list.
In fact. I am curious to ask b1exch this question. Is there even any way a business like yours can ensure the domains or the business itself will not be seized by a three letter agency in a future attack on the still standing, limit free platforms?
