No one is talking about Steph putting in a great show against the Magic? He had 12 3 points, I thought that he will go after the record, hade a half court shot to end the first two quarters, down 17 at one point, rally in the 3rd quarter, and then scored 56 points to overcome that Magic lead to win.
And it was supposedly the Magic home court, but he made it his own home court when face chanting MVP with this great performance. Butler just scored 5 points but it doensn't matter though. And now at a 5 game winning streak, chasing number 6 Clippers in the Western conference.
I saw a post on Facebook mentioning that on the same date in the previous years, Curry dropped more than 50 points, and some are even joking that the day should be declared Stephen Curry Day. Seriously, Curry looks different now, and theres no other reason for that except Jimmys arrival. The ball movement has improved a lot, giving Curry more open looks.
Lol, but yes, probably Steph is really looking for those dates and then drop another 50+ points. Him and Jokic has similar like 56 points game as well. But if I'm not mistaken, Fox dropped 60 when he was still with the Kings.
By the way, what about LeBron? No one seems to be talking about him.
Lately, hes been putting up MVP-level numbers. With his current stats and consistency, the Lakers are looking like a tough team to beat. If he keeps this up, theres even a chance he could win another MVP, not necessarily this year, but maybe next year, as long as he stays consistent.
Same with Curry, with the addiction of Luka, it seems a very different version of Lebron as well. Putting MVP numbers and there are not hint of him slowing down in the next couple of years unless him and Luka winning a championship together and probably that could be the passing of the torch.
