The Lakers are playing the Pelicans, but instead of watching Zion matchup with LeBron and Luka, TNT is showing the Suns and the Clippers for some reason. 2 teams that both grabbed a bunch of aging superstars hoping to get to the Finals and failed miserably... I'm bitter how bad my Phoenix team is doing this year.
I am excited to see the Lakers play the Knicks on TNT on Thursday. That should be a good one to watch.
Luka and Lebron dropping 30 and 34 points in their games against Zion W and the Pelicans. And Bron broke the 50,000 point mark in this game and so with that, we don't know if someone can still go and broke that record.
It was a fun game, lots of trash talking and Bruce Brown got a F1 foul here and then I thought that everything will break out. And with this win, the Lakers solidifies their 2nd spot in the West and with a 7 game winning streak now.
While I didn't know the 50k thing, I was shocked because I didn't understand that included playoffs, and here I was , thinking, "this dude barely broke 40k recently, how could he have 50k already?" turns out the 50k was with the playoff games as well. Yeah, it is not a shocker, this dude has been gong to finals all the time for a decade, and also we have seen so many bigger changes and bigger moves to better teams.
It's because he was supposed to break that 50k in the previous games, but he was short, just scoring 49,999, and then so many fans watch that game and was all shooting for Lebron to break that record. However, it was in this game that he actually broke it.
I feel like nobody will even come close to it. The incredible thing is that, people do not even see Lebron as a "scorer", he is a great playmaker and facilitator as well so when you think of him, you think of him passing the ball and playmaking and destroying other teams defensive scheme, and he is also the best scorer we have ever seen.
Yes, really hard to see right now who's going to be as close to even break into the top 5 because that group is insane,
1. Lebron James
2. Kareem
3. Karl Malone
4. Jordan
5. Kobe
Perhaps may Curry or even SGA could be, but still a long way to go. The only active players in the top 10 in scoring is Kevin Durant.
