He's got a chance but I think that the odds will change depending on how he and the others will be performing.
If Dray wins this, he'd be the oldest DPOY. Is that right? well, that's another record for him if he wins that title.
Yes, you are right, he will be the oldest DPOY. And I do agree that his chances are going up right now with how the way the Warriors are going with him as the anchor of their defense. It's that his defense is as not as let's say highlighted as compare to Wemby's who are blocking shots.
But let's see if he can actually win this award. And I still remember that he says that the Warriors are going to win the NBA championship for this season. So let' see if he can keep up those words as they are now in the playoffs.
That is what we're going to find out soon. But this also means that we'd see more dirty plays from him by how he defends.
Well, I know that many hates him for being a dirty player but this is why I want him to win the DPOY.
Since most of the players now are breaking new records then it will be a break for him if he wins it this season.
But we all agree that he really plays dirty and somehow we can't tolerate that but that's how physical sports goes like basketball.
Draymond does what it takes to get inside a teams head. They know what's coming when they have to play the Warriors. Teams should come up with a strategy to get him ejected(2 technical fouls) or drive at him and try to get him out of the game early, otherwise they have to deal with it.
I think every team has their dirty players. Lebron who flops alot, all the old Detroit players in the 90s, Dennis Rodman for the bulls, list goes on and on.
Yeah, fair enough. Other teams also have that kind of player, offense and defense him.
And I think a coach will figure that out when they will be against the Warriors to eject him which he could easily get flamed.
