I have admired him that he still took those freethrows despite the injury that he's taken, it's such a noble move. Others might not appreciate that but I really do.

I also hope that he's going to be fine but he needs to take some rest. The Mavs are out of luck, most of their key players are injured and I guess fans will cream at them and tell that it's a karma for them for trading Luka.

They shouldn't go that far, no one wants to get injured. Well, maybe for the 8% increase of ticket, they deserve those screams.

More bad news for the Dallas Mavericks. Now Kyrie Irving has been ruled out for the remainder of the season with a torn ACL. They went from a finals run to tanking the season seemingly with a single trade. The Lakers are feeling real good right now. Between Kyrie and Anthony Davis, the Mavericks are paying a lot of money to guys in street clothes.

Lebron is fine too at passing, but he is fine at assisting, there is a difference between just passing for passing sake, and assisting. What Luka does with his passing, is to make sure everyone touches the ball time to time, that way you get to see everyone having the ball within like 1-2 minute time span, he allows everyone to be part of the game, that doesn't mean it will result in a win, doesn't mean it will result in a score, he isn't getting 10+ assists a game.

Lebron is the reverse, if he is passing, that means there is a 90% chance you should be scoring, or at least getting a shot off, but if you are not in a good position, he may not pass to you for 5+ minutes, he won't give you the ball if you are not in a situation to score.

It just keep getting worse for the Mavericks by the day, every good player to begin this season are traded away or out injured, at this rate I’m not sure there is anything left that could be savaged from their season. Anyone would argue that this was the same team in the finals last season. Now all they’ve got left is some mediocre players running point for them, even if Anthony Davis and Gafford or Lively should return, they now a huge weak link in their back court, Dinwiddie and Hardy most definitely cannot handle the position. Shams Charania also made a comment earlier that it’s not impossible that Anthony Davis might be done for the season too.

I guess it’s over not just for Dallas run this season but also for the remainder of Kyrie Irving’s career. I know he still has one year left on his contract, but if he plays next season his career might look like the next Derrick Rose dealing with injuries and declining impact. If I were him, I think it would be better to retire. I wouldn’t be surprised if that happens.

Kyrie has already won an NBA championship and an Olympic gold medal those achievements should be enough for him to walk away from the game. The same goes for Joel Embiid but no championship, hopefully. lol

Ouch!, as I suspected, this is not just another kind of injury, you can see how his reaction when he falls to the ground and his teammates trying to help him. If it's a torn ACL then another season ending injury for Kyrie and it really very bad for the Mavericks.

Very hard to see the future of Kyrie though, he is very athletic but this kind of injuries will really hurt him. As we only see a couple that went back after a torn ACL and they are not even 100% of their old selves. We can only wish him the best and speedy recovery, but again, it will take some time to heal and recover and we don't know if he still has it and will be the start of his decline.

I'm thinking the same case with Klay Thompson? I'm no expert in the severity of injuries, but Klay was out like for more than two years after his Left Knee ACL Tear. He was able to get back, not the same anymore but still won a title with the Warriors but after that it was a different Klay and now that he is with the Mavs.

So I'm also seeing that after this contract expires, Dallas might let go of him because of that injury. He could be traded for a fresh pair of young players or even future draft picks. And it's obvious that the Mavs have reset already since trading Luka. And they still don't know how long AD can play with them and stay healthy.

Bad for Dallas fans, good for the Mavericks's ownership. Now they will shot down players like AD for the rest of the season and most likely won't even make the playoffs. And even if they do they won't go far with their best players out.
That's s such a sad development over the past 2 months. From a finals team to an unknown future. There have also been more hints recently about a move to Las Vegas. This shxt is to rigged, I can only feel sorry for their loyal fans. I wonder if Dirk will stay loyal to them after all this nonsense they are pulling. He even came to Luka's first Lakers game showing support. I guess that show what he was thinking about the whole story.

After being into the NBA Finals, the Mavericks are having short of the players due to injuries especially their big men.
AD, Gafford, Lively, Powell, and now Irving are now injured, and Irving will be out for the remainder of the season with a Torn ACL injury which really is a big blow for the team.

Just for context, usually it takes around 6-9 months before a player can go back to play, and 12 months to fully recover on that injury. Of course, there are some factors it like severity of the injury, surgery, physical therapy, and individual healing capacity. Whatever the case is, I just hope that he will recover and come back pretty much the same as how he's playing.

I also just looked at his contract and he have a player option contract next season. Many are saying that he might opt out next season to be a free agent, but with this injury, he will decide to opt in on his final year of the contract to continue recovering because nobody wants to acquire an injured player, right?

The Lakers are playing the Pelicans, but instead of watching Zion matchup with LeBron and Luka, TNT is showing the Suns and the Clippers for some reason.  2 teams that both grabbed a bunch of aging superstars hoping to get to the Finals and failed miserably...  I'm bitter how bad my Phoenix team is doing this year.

I am excited to see the Lakers play the Knicks on TNT on Thursday.  That should be a good one to watch.
