I think it's not all about the money, they can surely paid Luka as what other teams are doing with their superstars. The main problem could be Nico himself as there are reports that they have strange relationships.

So he has the power to removed Luka if he wanted to. And most likely this is brewing for years even though they make it to the finals. But it's very funny that there are fan theory that says Nico is a sleeper and that "allegedly" there was a conspiracy that they wanted Luka to be in Hollywood so that tickets sales needs to go up because the NBA is losing money. And after that trade they said that it is moved up specially at the start of this season.

Luka Doncic and the LA Lakers have yet to secure the championship title this season. The journey and the games are still long. And the playoffs are still far from starting. Moreover, the LA Lakers are not formidable this season. Currently, they are only ranked 4th in the Western Conference in the provisional standings.
Today, the LA Lakers will face a big match against the current leaders of the Western Conference standings, the Oklahoma City Thunder. Despite having few top-tier NBA stars, the Oklahoma City Thunder have been performing exceptionally well at the start of this season.

I hate the new All-Star format. I understand that the NBA management wants to experiment to boost ratings, but they're going about it the wrong way. The All-Star Game should be 48 minutes between the East and the West. Players should wear their own team jerseys. That's a format that should never be changed. When you alter the teams and the duration, it's no longer an All-Star Game. It becomes a completely different event. A 3 team, 12 minute tournament makes no sense. Didn't they learn anything from last year's fiasco?

And he is supposedly the replacement for Norman Powell? But Bradley Beal is no longer all star caliber. And maybe Clippers might be regretting their decision to get him and part ways with Powell as Norman is averaging like 20+ ppg right now.

I do agree that it could be the next Ben Simmons, wherein no team wanted him as he is now injury prone and it's obviously over rated. Wizards did the right thing to let him go, although up to know Wizards hasn't recovered since then as the teams is suffering this season again.

Los Angeles Lakers a currently getting a beat down from the defending champions Oklahoma City Thunder, It's currently a 31 point lead for OKC Thunder with around 8 minutes still to play for in the 3rd Quarter, I was expecting an interesting NBA match up between both teams led by Doncic and SGA respectively, but it's been completely a one sided game, with the OKC Thunder defense proving too much for the Lakers to handle.

How about the old Warriors team beating the Alien and the Spurs. San Antonio was leading in the first half, but somewhat Steph Curry, find his rhythm in the 3rd quarter as they outscored the Spurs 43-28.

Consolation price for the Spurs is that Wemby and Castle both had triple double, the first Spurs team mate to do so. Although his last assists was just in the last second of the game when it was all over and the winner is already decided. Still though, another accomplished for Wemby's young career again.

A good time to quote myself from 2 days ago.  There you go, all the Lakers fans can face the reality now. They might look good against mediocre teams but once they face a real one they crumble, and man they crumbled big time. Already up 32 at halftime it really was smooth sailing for OKC, against one of the most overrated teams in the league. Luka won't safe the Lakers, that was apparent in this one.

San Antonio was the surprise of the night. I thought their loss to Golden was a surprise.

I would have bet on San Antonio winning, but they lost.

They continued their winning streak in Oklahoma City, led by SGA. They easily outscored Doncic against the Los Angeles Lakers, securing a comfortable victory.
