Why would he take such a big risk? His career shouldn't be tainted with such an incident while he is one of NBA legends already.

I get why Jalen Green was traded. It’s not really because he’s worse than Durant, it’s more about how disappointing he was in the playoffs. They needed to make a move, and it just happened that Durant was available, so the trade made sense. And looking at it now, it actually worked out pretty well for the Rockets.

Those are good points. Even when I see the name Lebron and the word gambling my eyes popped out. As it is pointed out, as he built a massive empire already, he will not bother with a small money(for him). Not only him, but also Lakers will not be involved in something like this actually. There might be some people involved maybe but Lakers as an organization must have been doing everything in its power to not involved in something illegal. The stakes are too high for them to gain anything. I'm sure this thing will turn out to be clickbait.

Suns thought that they can finally win a championship after acquiring Durant since they already manage to be on the NBA finals without Durant.

But the problem is they sacrificed most of their defense just to acquire Durant as offense that overlaps with Booker main role as sole offense.

Durant on Rockets right now is just a filler as an offense.

That was an experiment and it turned out to be a failure.

Well, nothing we can do now but move on, even CP3 couldn’t win a championship with the Suns because they got stopped by Giannis and the crew. Now both teams actually look good (Suns and Rockets), except the Bucks - but it’s still too early to judge. A lot can still happen since the season ends next year.

For now though, we can give Durant credit for what he brought to the Rockets.

Yeah, that's one that they really call consistently, not every foul is consistent in NBA, like flopping situation is still not under control even though every year they say they will punish flopping, they end up not doing that. But wrap around is still called as much as possible, specially in these type of important cases, if you wrap around to create a space then you are going to get it called.

Moreover, if he didn't make that foul, if he didn't do that wrap around, he wouldn't be able to score that basket, so it is not like an unimportant part of the possession, we are talking about the entire reason why he was so free to score, without that foul, he would have a defender right on him and would have probably missed.

It is going to be a tough game tonight for both sides. Jokic is playing on a completely different level. So it will be so hard for both Durant and Alperen. Alperen probably will get really tired on defense trying to guard Jokic and he might get into foul trouble. I’m expecting a playoff level game.

I think the Wizards knows something when they get rid of Beal. Because after that, it seems that Beal game deteriorated and he was not the same anymore. Keep missing games and if he was able to play, very inconsistent. Or maybe he has this kind of attitude that he thinks he is still the main man for any team that he landed.

He should accept the fact that when he did go to Phoenix, it's Booker team and then they have Durant.

Same with the Clippers, they have Harden and Kawhi. And in their last game, you can see the frustration in the face of James Harden. No way he see that his team will be in this position as they've got Beal and Brooks in the trade. And now Beal is hurt again and so he is being a liability once more.

This is a good matchup, but can they really stop Jokic? I haven’t seen any player shut him down yet, so I think the Nuggets will still play the same way they always do. I’m guessing this will turn into a defensive game, since that’s the only style that really gives you a chance against Denver.

Durant will be unstoppable as usual, but same thing with Jokic, and even Murray and Gordon if he plays.
