There is a reason why he is the no.1 pick, the problem is he is given the point guard position which is not his original spot, he is a power forward, the mavs is experimenting since, he can pass the ball, this only delays his adjustment in the league, then he moves to the original position, this is what happen when the team has lots of potential and superstar players the coach experiments and before they know it, the potential player lose confidence, but for Flagg this is not too late, mavs coaching staff must acknowledge he's true position in the game, and not buy using him as a PG.
And again today, it looks like Flagg struggled a bit. Not the kind of performance he showed in his last game. He only scored 2 points in the first quarter, but maybe its too early, so lets see how many points he ends up with in this game. This is actually a good matchup since both teams (Memphis and Dallas ) are sitting at the lower part of the standings right now.
I know this kid has yet to unlock most of his potential in the NBA. But what he's showing early this season so far, is not the kind of what a lot of people are expecting.
He's been inefficient from the field. I guess he might be a bit overwhelmed by the NBA. The kind of thing that every other rookies need to deal with as a welcome gesture from the NBA lol.
Well, I hope he doesn't become a bust like some fans claims that he will be one. Hope he's not going to become another Zion.
