Maybe next year the Lakers will have to look for a good center or maybe not, who knows.
They had a good center I guess, but they choose not to use him.
Who? Mark Williams you said?
Just for context, Williams played around 80+ games in his 3 seasons back in Charlotte. Are you willing to get a player that injury-prone? That's the reason he didn't pass the physical test because he's injury prone. Between him and Hayes, I would still pick Hayes because of how athletic he is and although he's slow, he's a perfect combination to Luka's alley-oop passes.
For me, not getting Williams is a good choice for them. They don't need him TBH. What they need is a better center that could possibly stretch the floor. They have in Kleber, but his injured, so they need to have another.
Knicks vs Piston series already concluded after the game winning 3 point shot of Brunson on the last 4 seconds of the game. Still Kudos to Piston for giving a tough fight against Knicks. They are just weak on crucial time to close the game because they are leading on 4th quarter last minutes.
They can come back strong next year. The error committed on the crucial time affects big time to the result of the game for Piston. I have fun watching this series
That's why he's being announced as the "Clutch player of the year".
TBH, there's no surprise that the Knicks won on this series because of how talented their roster is compared to the Pistons, but the Pistons gave them a good fight. We know that experience matters in the playoffs, and the Pistons are simply unexperienced especially in those games where it was close, those who have more experience will know what they will be doing compared to those who don't.
Commend for the Pistons still, and with how the team flipped from one of the worse to now a playoff contender team, this is the start of the new Detroit Pistons team.
