LeBron James left a historic game behind with 38 points and 10 rebounds in Game 3. This guy is 40 years old and still an elite player. If he could have made the same contribution in other games, it would have been a more competitive series. It was an easy stage for the Timberwolves. The Lakers biggest problem was the lack of a center and defensive depth. Doncic didn't play like he did in the regular season in the playoffs, he put on the brakes a little.

Gobert doing amazing is basically proof that Lakers do not have even semi decent team built for this season. But that was assumed because we already knew that they wouldn't be doing great with this trade. Doncic is amazing, but with Doncic, they didn't make any moves to replace what they were missing. They gave up AD, who was basically 99% of entire Lakers paint area, and without that they are doing much worse now and that should be something they needed to fill but couldn't fill.

Basically they weren't ready with what that trade meant and they were shocked about it and now they are going to get ready. If they can do a good job then they won't be dealing with much, they just need to sign whatever free agent they can sign, or better yet they may do a trade but they don't have many players left.

I strongly think he might not continue after next season, especially if Lakers are able to make a trade to land a significant name to carry the banner in the front court, alongside Luka and if Lebron role should get reduced, he sure wouldn't continue.
That been said, I think he will (at least he should) make some announcement before entering any season that's supposed to be his last, though.

I guess that's the only thing that we can do right now and to wait for them to have some changes within the team. Coming from the roster, to coaching staff and to the GM.

Yes, it's part of it and even in the news, they're strategizing it to make different anticipation from the opponent. Anyway, the Rockets has just won against them and we're looking forward to the next game of theirs at 6.

I think LeBron is worried about being included in this trade to get Luka the help he needs. I hope Los Angeles doesn’t do that though. I also hope they don’t do something like get Durant and build a losing super team. They need to do what they did for Kobe. Let LeBron hang around another year, and get them a young athletic 7 footer they can destroy his body to win a championship a la Andrew Bynum. Give LeBron and Luka a year to figure it out. They are too great to not get a legit shot with a full team.

Only LeBron and Dame have been eliminated from the playoffs so far in this picture the rest didn’t make playoffs, but somehow Stephen Curry and Jimmy Butler are being dragged into the conversation. I’d say the era of Stephen Curry, Jimmy Butler and Westbrook isn’t over yet. I still think they have chance at winning championship this season. They’re actually performing well in the playoffs Jimmy Butler, for example is still playing 40 minutes a game even though he just recently got injured. For me, the ones who are truly at the end of their era or really need to rest are Paul George, CP3, Kevin Durant, AD, and LeBron James. But maybe if the Lakers had a legit center, they could have matched up better against the Wolves. What do you think?

Knicks vs Piston series already concluded after the game winning 3 point shot of Brunson on the last 4 seconds of the game. Still Kudos to Piston for giving a tough fight against Knicks. They are just weak on crucial time to close the game because they are leading on 4th quarter last minutes.

They can come back strong next year. The error committed on the crucial time affects big time to the result of the game for Piston. I have fun watching this series.

Now, I understand why Brunson is the clutch player of the year. Initially I have asked why he won, now I got my answers in this game. They were down like 6 in the last couple of minutes and I thought that the Pistons are going to win the game already.

But he has some miraculous shots down the line, and that dagger three really seals the game for them.


Same error committed by Trent in the Bucks game. But the Pistons has really improved a lot for this season and they are going to be scary next with a complete line up like this. No one is afraid to take the shots.

He never lose confidence even if he is missing a lot of shot prior to the clutch time. You can see on his face that he thinks he can do it on the next attempt that’s why he is so good on clutch.

Another interesting game today too is the Clips vs Nuggets. Clippers manage to stop Nuggets good run to cut their lead on the final quarter by their Defense. Zu and Batum step up well to contribute a solid defense that makes Clips win.

They are terrible on the clutch shots. Good thing they have defense to stop the momentum of Nuggets. It’s the first game 7.
