Nobody expect them to became a scary team like this also Warriors show that they can win even if Butler is out of their rotation that's why even though many doubts that they are not a title contender team as what other doubters say they are still a team which other team need to watch for since anytime they can blow up and perform unimaginably just like what they did to climb up as far as their current position now.
That small-ball lineup is still working for them. It looks like the Warriors have truly mastered it. Even though the Rockets often outrebound them, Golden State still finds a way to win especially in the fourth quarter.
I wouldn't say that they are using small lineup, they even have to play TJD to at least give Looney or Post a rest. And it's because the Rockets are using 2 big men and it's very effective for them. As you can see in the last seconds of the game, Looney did one job, that is to box out Adams and then Butler grabbing that rebounds.
Theyre not the kind of team that dominates all game long, but when it matters most ( crunch time), they suddenly switch on the perfect defense and offense. Just look at what happened in Games 3 and 4.
Yes, that's what you commend with the Warriors, Podz block FVV was also crucial. And then Draymond playing solid defense of Sengun.
With the current momentum, its looking more and more like this will end in a 4-1 series. Honestly, Jalen Green has been a huge non-factor. He hasnt made the kind of impact they needed from him.
Ime really made that decision to bench him in the last minutes. But you can't blame him as he was inconsistent in this playoffs. I think though when they go back to their homecourt, the Rockets might be a different team.
