Many coins have very good ideas, and many wallets are actually much better than bitcoin wallet. I wonder why btc developers don't have such good ideas? At least they should take best of alts and integrate in bitcoin.

If there are no alt coins in existence then there would be no trading to and fro and a lot of crypto exchanges will not be what they are today because people will use them only to buy Bitcoin and that's it. To me Bitcoin is like the Sun in our Solar system and all the altcoins are like the planets circling around it. I think all the alt coins are benefitting from Bitcoin's popularity and some of them come closer to it like Ethereum for example  

Trading alts is always more interesting and more fan than bitcoin. You can invest in WARP at 2000 sat and exit at 30000 sat and this is unbelievable. You need Almost whole year of trading with btc/$ to accomplish similar results, (or maybe even more). This is why i love ALTS. But this is not possible without strong Bitcoin.

I do not think so. Without all alt coins also, bitcoin will be as much useful as right now. But trading part would be more interesting only with many alt coins. But that does not mean without them bitcoin is less useful.

Alt coin really helps bitcoin a lot to keep the circulation of bitcoin in the market and helps to keep its price,it would really be boring just to trade bitcoin to dollar and alt coin change that.

If I begin with the premises that bitcoin began as an experimental project that is continuously evolving and not yet completed then I would have to conclude that alternative chains are a necessary analytical tool in the project's development. There has been an extreme amount of information gathered, analyzed, and tested as a result of the emergence of alternative block chains.

If I begin with the premises that bitcoin is an established currency then I would have to assume that alternative block chains provide an avenue to foster growth within the community.  They promote healthy market competition thru which innovation is encouraged.  They provide an entry point for adoption.  And they create valuable peer to peer networks without which the technology could not be realized.

Altcoins are a natural development of bitcoin and we're gonna have to live with them.

Without altcoins bitcoin would be very low in activity...Without the massive exposure that altcoins bring from big investors, would set bitcoin back a long way.

The alt coins really made bitcoins worth it for its daily use without alt coins bitcoin trading would be less interesting.

It will be incomplete, eventhough without altcoin bitcoin price can be up much bigger but without alt coin, bitcoin wont have any rivalry, then people wont try to develop bitcoin any further
