Only a few Alternatice Coins influence Bitcoin and its price, such as LiteCoin, DogeCoin, and maybe a few others. Other coins like Ethereum, PeerCoin and such are just copies trying to get money of the Bitcoin idea. Bitcoin would probably be the same without them, maybe a little weaker, but there would not be a very big difference than the current state.

this is not true. bitcoin is independent currency but market capitalize won't stay into just one. if altcoin have crated ever then market capitalize still devide into bitcoin and other fiat currency. just see what is going on in bitcoin to fiat trading.

Well ,i agree because ethereum is next to bitcoins as not expected when ethereum is at low price now it is even higher and companies are using that coin.more years to come maybe it the second and the most common coin other than bitcoins.
