Bitcoin still will keep continue its superiority even there will not be any single altcoin.Bitcoin is first which make it prime and they way it evolved give it all strength.It is to live and grow with the time and will be used to set up value for alt coins in future exact like gold works for fiat money.Bitcoin alone is everything.

Without altcoins you can say that your trade will be affected and your profit will be reduced, but you cannot say that it will be bad for bitcoin, as it will affect bitcoin but not negatively as it will bring success to bitcoin.

this is just the open source nature of bitcoin that makes it so anybody can copy the code and make their own. so as long as they are just copying the code it has not effect on bitcoin and if the code is different from scratch then again it has no effect on bitcoin because it is different.

well unprofitable why? mining difficulty increases and mining equipment becomes obsolete as the time goes by your electricity bill increases secondly altcoin promote bitcoin and it gives impact on its price and without altcoin, bitcoin will not survive

Bitcoin without altcoin may be less profitable. cause if that happened we wont have trading sites, like yobit. and if we dont have yobit we do not have signature campaign so it is less profitable

its @ $14USD, and u can use your GPU to mine, unlike bitcoin u need super asic or cloudmining, to even make it worthy.

I agree, bitcoin is the godfather, it is the father of all the altcoins. Without bitcoin it is impossible to have those altcoin that born around. And bitcoin is the longest coin that's been running eversince it's way it started. There are ups and downs of it but look at the bitcoin, it's still pushing it's way up and making a lot of progress.

Pretty much   I have a first hand experience o n those cloudmining shuts down.  They make you believe that they have mining farm, will show you lots of borrowed picture of miners. Then you invest and buy hashes.  And now your trap in their ponzi scheme LOL.  They are just paying you with what you paid them but the worst is, it was just a nano part of what you have invested to them.\

As to the topic Bitcoin without altcoin is boring, less fun and less excitement.  And less adoption and promotion for Bitcoin too.

If we check on history bitcoin is the first altcoin cryptocurrency that appeared on the market. It just implies that bitcoin is independent from any altcoins, it can exist in itself. Even witout other altcoins bicoin will still have a value because the existence of other altcoins is not the basis of bitcoins price but the principle of buy and sell.

Some people supports bitcoin because they have created their own coin. That is not bad at all. If they are risking something so that they will also profit from bitcoin enhancement then there is no problem with altcoin.
